Toshiba Satellite U400 is a business-oriented version of the U405 laptop. With a sleek "Fushion" finish, the Toshiba Satellite U400 has a 13.3" display screen with a resolution of 1280x800 and glossy TrueBrite technology for clear, vibrant backlit images.

It also features a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 Penryn processor and 1GB of SDRAM, with Intel X3100 Integrated Graphics and a 160GB 5400rpm hard-drive. The U400 has a fingerprint reader for added security, and built-in webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The unit has three USB 2.0 ports, a firewire, VGA output, a PC Express slot, and a DVD Supermulti optical drive. There is also a "sleep and Charge" function that allows for USB device charging while the computer is powered down, and the keyboard has LED-illuminated media keys for shortcutting music and video playback commands. Weighing 4.6 pounds, this laptop comes with Windows XP Professional.
