The Toshiba Satellite L640D-ST2N02 is a fast general-purpose Windows 7 laptop from the Satellite L640 Series. It builds from the original L640D-ST2N01 by incorporating an even faster AMD Phenom II TRIPLE-CORE processor with a larger 500GB, 5400rpm SATA HDD.

Unfortunately it’s also restricted to a 3.8-hour battery, although it does feature all its peer’s other specifications, including a 720p 14” display that’s LED backlighted, an integrated DVD burner, a media card rear and wired/wireless connectivity. Plus a webcam and microphone have been embedded onto the panel for easy communications. Also included is an HDMI output for transmitting to a compatible HDTV set.
