The Toshiba Satellite L550 is an affordable entry-level laptop that is designed for home, office, or educational use. The laptop is an upgrade in size to the L500 since it has a 17.3" LED-backlit display with Toshiba's TruBrite technology.

It features either an Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Turion X2 processor with up to 4GB DDR2 SDRAM and an up to 320GB hard drive. The Satellite L550 is designed with a DVD SuperMulti drive, stereo speakers, and a full-sized keyboard complete with a 10-key numeric keypad for comfortable typing. It includes a built-in webcam and microphone, has dedicated CD/DVD controls, and can be configured to include an HDMI port. The laptop operates on Windows Vista Home Premium and is available with a high capacity 12-Cell battery for longer battery life. The Satellite L550 comes in a graphite gray finish and has a 1 year limited warranty.
