Toshiba Satellite A665-S6067
$1,025.00
Released June, 2010
The Pros:Feels fairly light for a system this size, reasonable weight to carry around. Powerful enough graphics processing for many games to be run at high settings. General operation feels snappy, programs launch quickly and there's rarely any lag.
The Cons:Comes with a large power adapter "brick" on the cord which takes up space and adds weight. HDD is very slow and loud, creates the only bottlenecking on the system. Blacks are poorly saturated and there's noticeable light leakage.
The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6067 is a high-end notebook laptop nearly identical to the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6065. The only improvement that the A665-S6067 can boast over the A665-S6065 is its LED backlit keyboard.

Otherwise, the A665-S6067 and A665-S6065 are the same in every way as both feature: an Intel Core i7-720QM processor, a 16" LCD display (1366x768), an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a memory card reader, a DVD RW drive and an HDMI output.
The A665-S6067's LED backlit keyboard ensures that typing is as simple in the dark as it is in the light without drawing much extra power. Its NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor allows the A665-S6067 to handle high definition media playback as well as most modern video games on low and moderate settings. Additionally, the A665-S6067's Intel Core i7-720QM processor, while heavy on battery use, offers excellent performance well above most other mobile processors available.
