Toshiba Satellite A200 Series
$600.00
Released June, 2008
The Pros:Keyboard is well laid-out, feels nice to use. Audio controls and headphone jack are on the front of the unit for easy access.
The Cons:Tons of Toshiba bloatware which really gets in the way. Casing is made of thin plastic which feels very fragile/cheap. Letting Vista update the wireless card's drivers usually results in a wireless card that won't work until you roll back to the old drivers.
The Toshiba Satellite A200 Series is described as a "lifestyle" laptop line by its manufacturer, meaning it is basically a regular home-use series with features targetted at your average consumer.

Setting power options to limit CPU usage to anything less than 100% will result in sudden and frequent reboots.
