Like its immediate counterpart (S7230), the S7240 can be used as a traditional notebook with a keyboard/touchpad or twisted into a touch-sensitive 12.1” WXGA tablet PC that even accepts digital pen input. Additional features include Gigabit/WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated webcam with microphone, a DVD SuperMultiDrive, USB Sleep-and-Charge for powering up portable electronic devices even when the notebook is asleep or off, and a fingerprint reader for improved security.
