Like the other Sony CES 2010 notebooks, the Sony VAIO VPC-Y11S1E comes with Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium, the 64-bit version which allows the laptop to make full use of the up to 4GB of memory. A 0.3 megapixel camera is built in, as is the bluetooth, the 320GB hard drive and the Wireless LAN. The notebook has a mobile intel graphics media accelerator, so while it can't handle the most demanding games on the market, it can hold its own when it comes to movies and shows.

#sony_vaio_vpc_y11s1e I am generally very happy with this Vaio. Two things annoy me though: the large Caps Lock key, which makes me mistake Caps Lock for a all too often; Windows 7, which is not as good as Windows XP, which makes you realise that the only reason Windows launches a new OS is to make more money. I hope we will get Ubuntu, or whatever, next time.
