Sony VAIO CW Series VPCCW13FX

$800.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Reasonable battery life--about 4 hours on a full charge. Very slick, thin physical design (about 1.5" at the thickest point). Dedicated button that instantly turns off the display in order to save power with full functionality (great for overnight downloading).

The Cons:Comes loaded up with a fair amount of annoying bloatware. Super-glossy casing is easily smudged. Dated compared to newer Sandy Bridge-based offerings at a similar price.

Richard: #sony_vaio_cw_series_vpccw13fx BEFORE you buy ANY Sony Notebook, check if it truly has an OFF/ON switch that disconnects the battery. Mine uses 10-15% of the battery EVERY DAY it is supposely OFF! UNACCEPTABLE!
