The main difference between the Q430 and other similar Samsung Q-series laptops is the screen size and GPU - the Q430 has a 14" screen size and an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics processor capable of operating videogames and audio/video editing software that aren't too CPU intensive.

Like it's brothers the Q330 and Q530, the Q430 has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768, and comes with a black or silver metallic finish.  It also has a six-cell battery, that Samsung claims to last five hours.  Also included in the unit is a DVD burner, 3 USB ports, HDMI out, and a basic keyboard and track pad.  The laptop's slim design is one of it's best features, with a 27mm thickness.  The Q430 weighs 2.05 kg.
