Fitted with a 17.3-inch LED display, the Blade offers full 1080p HD compatibility for clear, vibrant visuals. Intel's second-generation Core i7 processor is included for optimal performance, ensuring lag-free operation and full reliability in high-risk scenarios. An 8-gigabyte DDR3 memory module enables application multitasking for users who wish to use the Blade as their main laptop, making it possible to browse the internet, stream and edit videos and run powerful design software without risk of latency or overheating. Graphics processing is handled via the Nvidia GeForce card, a unit that provides smooth DX11 rendering while employing Optimus technology to conserve energy when the computer is not in use. Perhaps the most striking feature of the Blade is the fully-customizable Switchblade user interface, a touchscreen LCD panel that offers pre-configured templates for many leading games. 10 adaptive hotkeys are available for quick, one-touch command, with consistent access to in-game menus and status updates for simple, intuitive referencing.
