MSi X-Slim X420

The X-Slim X420 is a laptop new from MSi in 2010. Like all the laptops in the X-Slim series, the ultra-thin design of this laptop is one of its sellings features. As one might expect from such a slim laptop, it is also feather light (4 pounds with battery).

There is a 14-inch screen, and choice of Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 or SU4100 processor. Windows 7 is the operating system. One of the most interesting features on the X-Slim X420 is a security feature, EasyFace. This feature allows you to take pictures of yourself with the X-Slim X420's built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam and make them your security tag. Only your face can get you into the desktop. You can set your face as your logon or as the code that unlocks the system. MSi's EasyViewer technology allows you to preview pictures, with various angles and zooms available. In Slide mode, pictures can be edited; you can rotate, adjust and enhance. Reviews of the X-Slim X420 have been positive.
