MSi VR705

The MSi VR705 is a lower-mid-range notebook computer with a 17" screen. The VR705's specs make it a step up from most of the VR series. It utilizes a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo dual-core processor, and features 4 GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

It is not a great choice for gaming, however, as it still relies on integrated graphics. Weighing 7 lbs, the VR705 is not highly portable, targeting instead home use, particularly entertainment, with two built-in HD speakers and a subwoofer. Other features include a memory card reader and integrated webcam.
