The Pros:Unbelievable value for the price. Includes a lot of luxury components and features (good dedicated video, 1.3MP camera, blu-ray, eSATA, HDMI etc...). Nice screen resolution and size.
The Cons:Not a well known brand. Very large size - not good for transportability or mobile computing. Aging processor - not as powerful as current top-of-the-line models.
Introduced on December 5th 2008, the P8610 is a media center lapop from Medion. Featuring a large 18" screen with a respectable yet uncommon 16:10 1680 x 945 resolution, a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T5800, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB HDD, the P8610 also includes a GeForce 9600M GS with 512MB of dedicated VRAM which can operate on its own or in hybrid mode.

Other media friendly features include 5.1 Dolby audio, a digital TV tuner and a Blu-ray drive. Surprisingly, the MSRP is a surprisngly affordable £800BP or just over $1,100US.
