Lenovo ThinkPad T500

$1,159.00 Released July, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:A good update to the worlds most recognizable business workhorse laptop. Introduces Centrino 2 platform to Lenovo ThinkPad lineup - stronger X4500HD graphics, faster DDR3 RAM. ATI Mobility Radeon 3450 runs cool and quiet, and is superior to on board Intel graphics 5-10x.

The Cons:1280 by 800 resolution is poor on a 15.4" screen - upgradeable at least to 1440 x 900. Does not come with a DVD writer standard. Does not come with wireless N standard.

Evolving out of the 15" T61, the T500 is a standard business-class laptop from Lenovo. Built to be fast and full featured the T Series is based on the new Centrino 2 platform, containing the latest 45nm Intel Core 2 Duos, DDR3 ram and the new Intel X4500HD integrated graphics chip.

Starting at 5.8 pounds with a battery life of 4.3 hours, the T500 is an all around powerhouse performer on par with Lenovo's previous offerings.
