The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 is a line of laptops designed for business use with a full suite of business grade technology and gives great features, portability and price. Standard processor options range from a 1.9GHz Intel Celeron T3100 to a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 processor, and it comes standard with 2GB of DDR3 RAM.

It has a 14.0" HD VibrantView monitor with matte black cover and optional WWAN (HSDPA or EV-DO). There is a built in 8x dual layer DVD burner with options of 160GB, 250GB or 320GB internal hard drive space. The (optional) integrated fingerprint reader uses biometric authentication with the swipe of a finger eliminating the need to remember passwords and keep them secret. The ThinkPlus Secure Business includes ThinkPad protection, online data backup and next business day onsite warranty service. The Lenovo ThinkPad SL410 comes preloaded with a Genuine Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit operating system.

#lenovo_thinkpad_sl410 I bought this laptop because of the ThinkPad brand is known for its build quality. A friend's HP laptop was starting to fall apart only after 2 years of use and that definitely contributed to my buying decision. Another friend was recommending the Sony Vaio but that was too rich for my budget, however this Lenovo SL410 isn't too expensive.
