Lenovo IdeaPad Y710

$1,099.00 Released February, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Beautiful sleek lines to the design with some unique features, looks very modern and high-end. Sound output is above average for a laptop, good volume and clarity. Fast enough graphics processing to run games very well.

The Cons:DVD drive is incredibly loud when used to burn a disc. Fairly large and bulky, a bit cumbersome to carry around. Number pad feels like it isn't in properly, not very stable.

The IdeaPad Y710 is a mainstream 17" laptop series from Lenovo marketed towards consumers who want good all around performance for media, gaming and basic applications without breaking the bank. Built to be fast and as full featured as the ThinkPad line, the Lenovo Y710 focuses on specifications that might be important to consumers over professionals, including large drives, descrete graphic cards, DVD writers, large screens with high resolutions and an abundance of ram.
