The HP TouchSmart tx2z Series is a convertible tablet PC designed to be small and relatively lightweight. It is ultra-portabe, weighing 5.8 pounds with the AC adapter and measuring 1.5 inches high. It has a 12.1 inch screen, a 400GB 5,400rpm hard drive and 4GB of DDR2 memory.

The processor is a 2.4GHz AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core ZM-86 and the operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit. The HP TouchSmart tx2z Series is less than half the price of the similar Dell's Latitude XT2 tablet, which is priced at $2,399. Compared to that and other tiny tablets on the market, the tx2z Series is much more reasonably priced. The HP TouchSmart tx2z Series has a glossy titanium finish with a imprint pattern. A touch pad is included in case the consumer doesn't feel like navigating using the touchscreen.
