The HP Pavilion dv7-3065dx is a low-cost desktop replacement laptop that retails at an affordable starting price of $729.99, but is jam-packed with extra features. Unlike similarly priced notebooks, the dv7-3065dx boasts an integrated Blu-Ray player / DVD writer, a dedicated graphics card, and premium Altec Lansing speakers.

Coupled with its large 17.3” backlit LED display, the notebook can output quality HD film footage at a resolution of up to 1600x900 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Another notable upgrade is the addition of a Media Center remote that can be used to control the Media Center app, and then later tucked away in the ExpressCard slot. Additional features: standard Ethernet, b/g WiFi, and HDMI and eSATA ports.
