HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx

$900.00 Released November, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Solid construction doesn't flex or creak. Keyboard has a nice feel, satisfying when you depress a key and very soft with a short depression. Screen is bright and easy to read text from.

The Cons:Keyboard is overly sensitive, will occasionally over-react to your movements. Touch pad isn't very responsive, will often ignore your movements at first. Graphics card is like a crap and it's not replaceble because it's integrated. Don't buy it if you want to play games or work on 3d works.

The HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx is a stylish general-purpose notebook featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2.13GHz), 6GB of DDR3 RAM (Up to 8GB), and a 500GB SATA hard-disc drive. It hosts a large 15.6” widescreen display that features plenty of space for both movies and productivity; in fact, two Word docs can easily be viewed side-by-side.

Product Shot 2 Unfortunately, the graphics are integrated (bad for gaming, but the dv6-1375dx does feature Altec Lansing speakers for superior quality audio that can be felt AND heard. Shortcomings include a dedicated number pad resulting in a cramped keyboard; a smudgy touchpad; and a relatively weak battery.
