HP Pavilion dv4-1555dx

$750.00 Released November, 2009

Product Shot 1The HP Pavilion dv4-1555dx is a stylish general-purpose notebook featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2.2GHz), 4GB of DDR3 RAM (Up to 8GB), and a 320GB SATA hard-disc drive. It hosts a relatively small 14.1” display with a weak 1280x800 resolution and an integrated graphics accelerator, making it a poor choice for playing HD games.

On the bright side, the dv4-1555dx hosts superior quality audio via Altec Lansing speakers with SRS Premium Sound technology, as well as an HDMI output. This means users can enjoy videos with booming sound on either the notebook or on a compatible HDTV. Despite its superior audio, the dv4-1555dx is burdened by several critical faults: a poor battery life, a glossy display, a loud keyboard, and an uncomfortable touch pad. Keep in mind though that it does at least feature the Windows 7 operating system.
