The HDX18 is a 18" home theater laptop from HP aimed at consumers who want a transportable PC that can do it all. Released in the middle of September 2008, the HDX18 features a full 1080p resolution of 1920 x 1080, Altec Lancing speakers with an included subwoofer, a 9500M graphics card from Nvidia, support for two hard disk drives, a high end Intel processor and 4gb of DDR2 ram.

With prices starting at a rather reasonable $1549, the HDX18 is a powerhouse capable of high quality gaming, watching, and creating. Weighing in at 8.9 pounds, the unit has yet to be tested for battery life - but don't expect much, even with its large 8-cell.
