The HDX16 is a 16" home theater laptop from HP aimed at consumers who want a transportable PC that can do it all. Released in the middle of September 2008, the HDX16 features a 720p capable resolution of 1,366 x 768, Altec Lancing speakers with an included subwoofer, a 9500M graphics card from Nvidia, a 320GB 5400RPM drive, a high end Intel processor and 4gb of DDR2 ram.

With prices starting at a rather reasonable $1249, the HDX16 is a powerhouse capable of high quality gaming, watching, and creating. Weighing in at 7 pounds, the unit has yet to be tested for battery life - but don't expect much with its large size, powerful components and 6-cell battery.

#hp_hdx16 The HDX16 can be ordered with a higher resolution 1920x1080 screen. Still, with the 1366x768 screen, you can use the HDMI port to hook it up to a 1080p TV to enjoy all that the optional bluray rom and standard 9600M GT can serve up.
