It features a magnesium chassis with impact-absorbing polycarbonate casing and a 13.3" touchscreen display that is sunlight-viewable. The Itronix GD8000 has a 1.86 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 120GB hard drive, and an Intel graphics card. It offers a wide range of wireless connectivity with integrated Gobi 2000 WWAN, GPS, and WiFi as well as the option of integrated Bluetooth. The laptop includes a fingerprint reader for security as well as a Trusted Platform module to support security software. The Itronix GD8000 is Energy Star and EPEAT certified and comes with a 3 year warranty.
