Gateway P-173XL FX
$2,000.00
Released August, 2008
The Pros:8800M is a very powerful card, comparable today to the 9700M or 9800M, by far faster than the current
9600M. Wireless N standard. Impressive 1920x1200 resolution.
The Cons:9.2 pounds is ridiculously heavy. Without the latest generation of hardware which can switch to an onboard graphics chip to save battery, this computer will not last long on battery.
Gateway P-173XL FX is the upgraded version of the P-173X FX model. A 2.4 GHz CPU speed is produced by a stronger Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and the graphics card is still the NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS.
