The Cons:Trackpad is unresponsive and difficult to work with. Keyboard is completely flat, makes it difficult to find the right key by feel. Battery generally lasts less than 2 hours.
The NV5378u is a multimedia notebook from Gateway's mid-range NV53 Series. Like all of the models in the series, the laptop features a 15.6" HD widescreen UltraBright LED-backlit display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

It has 4GB of DDR2 memory, 500GB hard drive, and is a step down from the NV5362u since it has a lower-grade 2.0GHz AMD Athlon II X2 Dual-Core processor. The laptop also includes a DVD SuperMulti drive, webcam, and ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics. The NV5378u features WiFi and ethernet connectivity, a card reader, 4 USB ports, and an HDMI port. It is designed with a honeycomb case pattern and a Midnight Blue lid and has a full-size keyboard, making it comfortable to type on for long periods. The laptop is also available in varying models with a Cherry Red, Coffee Brown, or NightSky Black lid.
