The Fujitsu LifeBook T730 replaces the T4410 as Fujitsu's 12.1'' convertible tablet PC. Processors, wireless cards, and component options have been updated. The body, ports, and major features of the system remains largely identical; this includes the dual digitizer option where the touch screen can be used with both the supplied active digitizer pen and finger touch gestures.

Intel's Core i5 and i7 processors have replaced the older Core 2 Duo processors. Intel wireless cards and integrated graphics have also been replaced by the latest iterations from Intel. Higher capacity hard drive and solid state drive options have been added and the maximum allowed amount of memory have been increased from 4GB to 8GB. It is available with professional versions of Windows XP and 7. The optical drive bay can be customized with DVD drive, extra battery, and weight saver options. The LifeBook T730 is one of few 12.1'' convertible tablet PC option available on the market today.
