Product Shot 1 The Pros:Amazing graphics. Super fast quad core processor. Full 3D resolution display.

The Dell XPS 17 is the largest laptop in the XPS line, and it was released again in 2011 as a step up from previous generations. It features an upgraded full 1080p high-definition 17” display panel that supports 3D video content (Nvidia Nvision 3D Glasses required); a more compact keyboard with Chiclet-style keys; and an upgraded Core i7 CPU with on-die graphics, meaning users can take advantage of Nvidia’s Optimus switchable graphics technology.

In particular, the Nvidia chip has been upgraded from the 400M to the 500M series with up to 3GB vRAM. Other features it inherits from its predecessor, such as optional WWAN and WiMax connectivity, an integrated 2.1-channel JBL audio system, and an HDMI out for streaming 1080p video streams.
