It comes with a few extra service packages for consumers who don't want to worry about what might happen in the future - the Dell On-Site Service helsp to get the laptop ready to go on site, the Extended Battery Servive extends the terms of the laptop battery coverage to up to three years, and the CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service is available for more accident prone consumers.

Some of the Dell Vostro 1320 additional hardware options include a fingerprint reader, an encrypted hard drive and a Trusted Platfore Module (TPM) protected network connection. The consumer can upgrade to a solid state hard drive with a reinforced base and a spill resistant keyboard to help minimize the risk of physical damage to the data.
