The Dell Inspiron 1525 released at the beginning of 2008, is a 15.4" laptop that is the successor to the Inspiron 1520 and is intended to be a mainstream laptop for budget-minded people. Compared to the 1520 the 1520 sees a 20% reduction in size and drops around half a pound to come in at 6 pounds, about standard for this price-range and size.
