Dell Inspiron 14z

The Dell Inspiron 14z is an entry-level 14" laptop meant to improve upon its previous iteration of the same name. Primarily, the 2011 14z offers a redesigned chassis that's thinner than the previous model and sports an aluminum lid and palm rests rather than plastic.

The 2011 14z also offers newer Sandy Bridge processors and USB 3.0 ports.

The Inspiron 14z's 14" LED display sports a native resolution of 1366 x 768 while its LED backlighting allows for greater contrast than that of standard LCD displays while consuming less battery life. Its aluminum chassis provides the Inspiron 14z with greater durability than its previous plastic build while resisting discolouration on the palm rests. Meanwhile, the 14z's Intel Core i3 and i5 Sandy Bridge processor options offer enough processing power to handle more intense tasks while consuming less battery life than older Core i chips.
