The Pros:Nice glossy LCD screen. Great value with decent features for $450. Takes a good beating and still keeps running.

Wireless has difficulties when being used with some routers, and does not function well from a distance.

#compaq_presario_c500t I have had this notebook for 2 years now, I used it as a truck driver and am now using it as my main computer at home. I have had very few problems with it, as the only problem I had was a defective power supply which turns out to be a recall issue.
It has been beaten up on the truck, and has kept on going. Not bad for a low end computer.
Just as a side note, my computer came with 1GIG of memory and a 100 Gig hard drive.

#compaq_presario_c500t I have this notebook and I took it up to 2 gigs of memory and a 160 GB hard drive and despite not having a true 3D graphics card, it plays most of today's games with no problem! Love this machine...wish I had two!
