It can accommodate up to 4GB of DDR2 memory in 2 slots, and comes with a Sata 2.5", 5400 rpm hard drive that can go up to 500GB for space. The Averatec N2700 is a little bit heavier than Averatec's previous attempt at a notebook, the 2500, but it also comes with a better battery and better specs in general. The webcam has not improved over the 2004 2500 model - it is still just a 1.3 mega-pixel web camera, not anywhere close to the best camera on the market. The notebook includes a SuperDrive for reading and writing DVDs.
