Asus N71Vn is an N Series laptop. It’s one of the lower-end units, as it doesn’t incorporate either Nvidia Optimus energy-savings technology or SonicMaster advanced audio technology. Featured instead is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 (2.0GHz) CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB 7200rpm SATA drive.

As it’s designed for gaming, the unit hosts an Nvidia GeForce GT 240M graphics module; and as it’s also intended for business communications, the unit features Gigabit LAN and Draft N wireless and a built-in webcam. Signature to the Asus N71Vn is its 17.3” (1600x900) high-definition, widescreen display for viewing lots of business content, or playing a game in its intended resolution.
