Asus K40IN

$799.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable budget system. Excellent for a student. Native 720p display.

The Cons:Processor in the X1 and X2 models somewhat underwhelming (Pentium 4200 and 4300 respectively). Battery life only about 2 hours, despite only 65 watts max power consumption. Limited instead by small battery size, and the compartment does not allow a larger battery. RAM & Hard Drive not user serviceable, whole unit must be disassembled.
