The Asus K40IJ is a 14" notebook PC from Asus' multimedia-oriented K-Series for 2009 and is one of two 14" models from the series, the other model being the K40IN. The laptop features an LED backlit display with a 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen viewing.

It is equipped with Intel's GL40 Express motherboard, Core 2 Duo processor and GMA 4500M graphics card. The K40IJ includes up to 4GB RAM and an up to 320GB hard drive. The laptop comes with a built-in DVD burner, webcam, and Altec Lansing speakers with SRS surround sound support. It also has a 6-cell battery to provide a battery life of up to 5 hours.
