joee: #asus_g2s_a1 I have similar, 2-year-old model from Sager. I'm thinking of upgrading to this, but only if it fulfills these use cases better than my existing machine

  • It's comfortable to use in bed. Fan intakes should be on the sides rather than the bottom. It would be nice if the bottom were flat like a Macbook.
  • All functions (ACPI power, ACPI sleep, wi-fi) should work in ubuntu linux.
  • It should run quiet and cool when load is low, even while sitting on a blanket.
