The F9J laptop is designed with a 12.1" WXGA LCD screen and fully powered by the Intel Celeron, Intel Core 2 Duo, and Intel Core Duo processor family. Additional hardware options include an integrated NVIDIA GEforce Go7300 graphics adapter, a built-in 1.3 megapixel 240 degree swivel web-cam, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security support and a 2 year limited manufacturer's warranty.
The Asus F9J is bundled with the aforementioned TPM security support; which is basically an individual chip-set that handles platform security. Important user passwords data, and options are stored via the TPM chipset and are thus fully encrypted in order to keep hackers and viruses out. The Asus F9J model laptop also includes HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Disc support (depending on the model purchased), and SATA 2.5" hard drive support in excess of up to 160GB. The Asus F9J laptop is additionally powered by the Intel 945 PM chipset and up to 2GB total of DDR2 533/667MHz DRAM.
