Asus B50A

 Announced in late August 2008, the Asus B50A is the newest and most advanced 15" business class laptop from Asus. Based on the latest Centrino 2 platform, the B50A includes the most advanced Intel Core 2 Duos, fast 800MHz DDR2 memory, a 120-320GB SATA HDD and onboard Intel GMA X4500HD graphics.

While the system will not be a contender for any gamers out there due to its weaker Intel driven graphics, the B50A can play high definition content with ease, and has business functionality not seen on many laptops today, such as water resistence up to 120ccs and a built in keyboard backlight. With up to 5 hours of battery life, the B50A remains a respectable mobile contender, especially when considering the amount of power it packs, however it's 6 pounds of weight  does leave something to be desired for the road warrior. Available in Austrailia and Germany, a North American release date or MSRP has not been announced.
