The Cons:GeForce 8600M GT is showing its age; some newer games run slowly at high resolutions. No Blu-Ray drives available, not even external ones. MacOS X doesn't support Blu-Ray playback, and can burn Blu-Ray only with 3rd party software.

The next generation of the Macbook Pros were released on February 26th, 2008. This release includes several upgrades over the previous generation Macbook Pro; most notably they will include new Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn core processors running at 2.4 GHz or 2.5 GHz.
