Product Shot 1 The Pros:Lightweight for a 14" notebook at only 3.5 pounds. HDMI output. Comes with Windows 7.

The Cons:Sacrifices performance for mobility and battery life. Slow 1.3GHz individual core speed - poor for applications that require a lot of power. Intel GMA graphics - not powerful enough for games, 2D applications and media only.

The Acer TravelMate Timeline TM8471-8818 has a slightly slower processor than the others in its line running at 1.3GHz. That makes the price slightly less than its counterpart, the TM8471-6306. It is also Energy Star 5.0 compliant.
