Product Shot 1 The Pros:Enough storage for most purposes, can store all the office documents you could want and a few movies. Screen is large and clear, comfortable to look at for hours. Displays video full-screen smoothly, can output to an external screen at high definition.

The Cons:Heavy and bulky, difficult to carry with you. Doesn't launch applications very quickly, occasional pauses while it does something complex.

Acer introduces the Travelmate 5720 as a down to business notebook.  Intel Centrino Duo Processor Technology with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection is a step up from the TravelMate 5520.

CPU speed is also increased to 2.1GHz or 2.2GHz, depending on the processor installed. 3GB of memory are installed however with two memory card slots, 2GB of upgradable memory is easily installed in eah. Screen size of the Travelmate 5720 is 15.4”, while the graphics card is Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 supported by Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and 10.0. The TravelMate 5720 is equipped with WI-FI CERTIFIED with Acer’s SignalUp Technology for added antenna signal. In addition, Acer Video Conference with VVoIP (voice and video over IP) via Acer OrbiCam is provided.  This model supports many interface ports, notably S-Video TV-Out, VGA and Four USB 2.0. The card slots are customizable, all supported by Type ll PC Card slot, and a 5-in-1 card reader. Depending on usage, Travelmate 5720 provides 2.4 hours of battery life and fully charges with power off in 2.5 hours.
