The Acer Extensa 5630 line of notebooks is a mid-range line of notebooks intended for business use, and designed to be a combination of performance with economical pricing. There are eight different configurations of the 5630, the details of which are listed below.
Their features are, in general, very similar, the main differences being in processor type and RAM configuration. Each model has a dual-core Intel processor and at least 3GB of RAM, and all but two models have a 250GB hard drive. The displays are 15.4" WXGA LCD screens and each has a top-mounted integrated webcam. They also all have Super-Multi optical drives and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD video processors and use Windows Vista Home Premium. Each of the models may be available only in certain regions or only from certain retailers.
