The Pros:Good sized hard drive for a laptop this price. Larger than average touchpad is comfortable to use.
The Cons:Pretty high MSRP considering Core 2 Duo machines usually sell for $500. Construction is mainly plastic, making it feel rather cheap. The keyboard feels thin and flimsy, making it uncomfortable to use.

#acer_aspire_5516 I got this notebook as a hand me down. Was very underwhelming but it was free. I am in the computer industry so know a few things. I did some home work and upgraded the memory to 4gb, found you could extend the processor so I added a 2ghz dual core and found an apple wireless n card. Right now looking for an easy way to add Bluetooth with out taking up a USB. All in not a bad notebook. LCD screen do go bad don't knock a notebook because of defective hardware on one, that is why you pay for a warranty if it runs out that is just crappy timing.
