$750.00 Released April, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Well built unit that feels durable and solid. Keyboard is comfortable and ideal for touch-typists. Sharp, bright screen that is perfect for both document viewing and media.

The Cons:Doesn't have a lot of extra features beyond the tablet mode, missing an optical drive. Can't handle any gaming duties.

The Aspire 1825PTZ is one of few convertible tablet PC offered by Acer. It sports an ultra low voltage dual core Intel Pentium SU4100 processor and a 11.6'' LED multitouch screen. It comes with all standard notebook features such as wireless-N capability, a 5 in 1 media card reader, bluetooth, 0.3 mega pixel webcam, and 3 USB 2.0 ports which are hard to find for similarly sized notebooks.

Where to Buy

With the 6 cell battery pack, it offers up to 8 hours of battery life. More expensive tablets PCs offers full powered Intel Core i5 or even i7 processors but the well priced 1825PTZ is by no means lagging behind; for most fail uses the SU4100 processor is more than enough.  The Aspire 1825PTZ is aimed at the budget convertible tablet users but should not be seen as just another budget portable notebook PC. In some cases it has more features than many larger budget friendly notebooks on the market.
